Consultancies counseling and field missions:

May – June 2015: Consultant Staff Care for the International Medical Corps. Providing staff care (advice, counseling, training) for individual team members, team and mangement working in emergency relief following the earthquakes on April 25 and May 12 (in co-operation with the KonTerra Group, Washington DC).

2013 – present: Consultancy Greenpeace International in St. Petersburg, addressing mental health and wellbeing of the crew of the Arctic Sunrise (upon release on bail), advising the organisation on policy re. support and assistance and follow up individual consultations and screening (in co-operation with the Antares Foundation, Amsterdam, and Interhealth Worldwide, International Health Centre, London) .

2014 – present Consultant World Learning, pre- and post-deployment counseling for staff in high-impact countries (in co-operation with the KonTerra Group, Washington DC).

2014 – present Consultant GOAL, pre- and post-deployment counseling for medical staff working in Ebola-programs in Sierra Leone (in co-operation with the KonTerra Group, Washington DC).2014: Counseling Iraqi and US Staff of Iraq University Linkage Program, working for Irex, a Washington based international NGO (in co-operation with the Antares Foundation, Amsterdam)

2014: Training and consultancy Staff Care and Resilience for a major, international company, working in Afghanistan in the field of development and stabilisation (in co-operation with the KonTerra group). 2010: Training and counseling in staff care and resilience for Oxfam, Haïti, following the earthquake in January 2010 (in co-operation with the Antares Foundation, Amsterdam)

2009: Training and posttraumatic counseling for War Child in South Kivu, DR Congo (in co-operation with the Antares Foundation, Amsterdam)

2004: Evaluation Mental Health Program of the project Vive Zene in Tuzla, a shelter program with psychosocial and mental health support for traumatized women in Bosnia Herzegvina. This project was sponsored by the European Union (in co-operation with the Antares Foundation, Amsterdam)

2004: Stress management training and individual counseling for Oxfam and Care, Jerusalem and West Bank (in co-operation with the Antares Foundation, Amsterdam)

2004: Stress management training and individual counseling, responding to the outbreak of the civil war in Darfur. Care Sudan, Khartoum and Nyala, Darfur, Sudan (in co-operation with the Antares Foundation, Amsterdam)

1997: one week training/workshop in Arkhangelsk and St. Petersburg, Russian Federation, for volunteer organisations of veterans and the Committee of Soldiers Mothers (Consultant for Tacis, a European Union Program to promote transition to market economy and reinforce democracy and the rule of law in the partner states in Eastern Europe and Central Asia)

1992 - present Lecturing on psychotrauma and on veterans-related subjects in various countries, a.o.
